Youth Christmas Party!

This year's Parkway Youth Christmas party will be held in the Parkway Youth Lounge on Sunday evening, Dec. 18th. Among other activities the main event of this year's party will be Karaoke! Whether you are a "singer" or not, come out for a fun, and entertaining evening. 

Food, snacks, and drinks will be provided. Games, crafts, movies, and other activities included! We will do a unique gift exchange - please BRING a gift that would be good for anyone that is approximately $5. All friends are welcome to attend! Also, feel free to dress in your favorite Christmas outfit (tacky sweater, green and red, etc.).

SUNDAY OCTOBER 16th

"Pizza & Pumpkins" -- This coming Sunday, join us at 6pm in the Parkway Youth Lounge for a night of making pizzas and carving pumpkins.  BRING YOUR OWN PUMPKIN to carve and bring $5 for dinner.  Invite your friends and come ready for a great time!  Event will end at approx. 8pm.


SATURDAY & SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5th-6th

"Overnight Getaway" -- The first weekend of November we will head to Highlands, NC for an overnight retreat hosted by the Medfords.  We will leave from Parkway on Saturday, spend the night in Highlands, worship together in an outdoor setting on Sunday, and then return to Parkway early Sunday afternoon.  Please contact Ryan Wilson for more information and to RSVP.

Youth Event!

SIX FLAGS!! Saturday, October 8^th

We will meet at Parkway at 9am to head to the park.  We will spend the day enjoying “Fright Fest” at Six Flags and will return in the evening between 5 - 6pm.  Tickets for “Fright Fest” are $45 per person.  Will will have lunch at the park, so bring a packed lunch to enjoy or money to buy lunch in the park.

Welcome, everyone, to the new Parkway Student Ministry blog/website.  In an effort to offer better organization and communication from the Student Ministry, this site will serve as a central hub for all things Parkway Youth.  This page will contain upcoming event updates, newsletter articles, youth stories/photos/videos, and other helpful & fun information pertaining to the Student Ministry.  At the top of this page are tabs to other sites, including our Google Calendar, listing all upcoming youth events, and our Facebook page.  Finally there is a "Contact" with our basic contact information for the youth group and the church.

My hope is that this site serves as a helpful tool for the Student Ministry leaders, students, parents, and friends.  Enjoy!
